Payal Mithani
Director Debt Capital Markets
Payal is Director of Debt Capital Markets at M7 Capital. She is responsible for sourcing new senior debt for M7 funds as well as separate account mandates, the ongoing transaction management of M7’s UK and European Funds currently totalling c.€5bn AUM, preparation of request for finance documents, negotiation of term sheets and transaction documentation and maintaining lender relationships.
Prior to joining M7 Capital in 2014, Payal worked at Nationwide Building Society for 10 years within the Commercial Real Estate team as a Relationship Manager. She managed a portfolio of institutional funds, quoted companies and private property investors including M7, where total lending exceeded £700 million. Her role encompassed managing day-to-day issues, restructuring facilities and monitoring additional facilities that had been successfully restructured.
Payal has a BSc in Mathematics with Operational Research from Royal Holloway, University of London and then, as punishment, continued to further her education with a dual qualification as an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (formerly ACIB) combined with a BSc in Financial Services.
