Director Debt Capital Markets
Dan is Director of Debt Capital Markets for M7 Capital. Dan is responsible for sourcing new senior debt for M7 funds/separate account mandates, the ongoing transaction management of M7’s UK and European Funds currently totalling c.€5bn AUM, preparation of request for finance documents, negotiation of term sheets and transaction documentation as well as maintaining lender relationships. As if that wasn’t enough, Dan is responsible for the commercial loan servicing activities across the growing portfolio of M7 Capital originated loans currently totalling over £100m across 14 loans.
Prior to joining the M7 team in October 2017, Dan was Co- Director of European Commercial Servicing at Situs where, for four and a half years of blood, sweat and toil, he was responsible for the management of commercial real estate loan portfolios totalling approx. €40 billion across Europe.
Before this, Dan was Head of European Commercial Loan Servicing at Deutsche Bank for two years where he was responsible for the Primary and Special Servicing of €18 billion of commercial real estate loans across Europe.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Dan worked for four years at Morgan Stanley and before that as a Chartered Surveyor focused on commercial property and asset management for companies based in Oxford, London and the Cayman Islands. Dan often repeatedly kicks himself for ever leaving the Caymans!
